Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ('Terms') govern your access to and use of Web Watch Tower ('WWT', 'we', 'us', or 'our'), a website monitoring service operated from Poland. By creating an account or using the service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the service.

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using Web Watch Tower, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms and by our Privacy Policy. These Terms apply to all visitors, registered users, and organizations that use the service.

2. Description of the Service

Web Watch Tower monitors websites and domains for uptime, response time, SSL/TLS certificate validity, domain expiry, and email authentication records (SPF, DMARC, DKIM), and sends notifications when it detects problems. The service also offers free public tools for one-off checks. We may add, change, or remove features at any time to improve the service.

3. Accounts and Registration

To use most features you must create an account. You can register with an email address and password or, where available, by using 'Sign in with Google'. You agree to provide accurate information, to keep your credentials confidential, and you are responsible for all activity under your account. We strongly recommend enabling two-factor authentication. You must be at least 16 years old, or the age of digital consent in your country, to use the service.

4. Authorized Monitoring Only

You may only monitor websites, domains, and endpoints that you own or that you are explicitly authorized to monitor. You are solely responsible for ensuring you have the necessary rights and permissions for every target you add. You must not use the service to probe, scan, or place load on systems without authorization.

5. Acceptable Use

You agree not to misuse the service. In particular, you must not: • Use the service for any unlawful purpose or in violation of any applicable law • Configure monitoring in a way that places excessive or abusive load on third-party systems • Attempt to disrupt, reverse engineer, or gain unauthorized access to the service or its infrastructure • Resell, sublicense, or commercially exploit the service without our written permission • Use the service to store or transmit malicious code or unlawful content

6. Plans, Limits, and Fees

The service may be offered with free and paid plans. Each plan may include limits, such as the number of organizations, monitored domains, team members, and other resources. Where a plan carries a fee, the price, billing period, and applicable terms are presented before you purchase. Unless required by law, fees already paid are non-refundable. We may change plans, limits, or pricing with reasonable notice.

7. Service Availability

We work hard to keep the service reliable, but we provide it on an 'as available' basis and do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation. We may perform maintenance, which can temporarily affect availability, and we may suspend the service to protect its security or integrity.

8. Disclaimer of Warranties

The service is provided 'as is' and 'as available' without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied. Monitoring results, including uptime, certificate, domain, and email-authentication data, are provided for informational purposes and may contain inaccuracies or delays. The service is a supplementary tool and should not be relied upon as your sole source of truth for critical decisions.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, WWT and its operators shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages, or for any loss of data, revenue, or business, arising from your use of or inability to use the service, including any missed or delayed notification. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited under applicable law.

10. Intellectual Property

Web Watch Tower, including its software, design, logos, and content, is owned by us and protected by intellectual property laws. We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use the service in accordance with these Terms. You retain ownership of the data you submit, and you grant us the rights necessary to operate the service for you.

11. Termination

You may stop using the service and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate your access if you violate these Terms, misuse the service, or where required by law. Upon termination, your right to use the service ends; provisions that by their nature should survive (such as disclaimers and limitation of liability) will continue to apply.

12. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Poland, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. The courts competent for our place of business shall have jurisdiction over any dispute, without prejudice to any mandatory consumer-protection rights you may have in your country of residence.

13. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. When we make material changes, we will update the 'Last updated' date and, where appropriate, notify you. Your continued use of the service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
